WHAT TO SEE IN NERJA

Burriana, located about 600 metres from Plaza Cavana Apartments, is one of the best beaches in Nerja. There are many parking lots, beach bars and plenty of space in the sand to enjoy with family and friends. In addition to parking and excellent culinary options, Burriana boasts a wide range of fun activities: jet skis, kayaks, and so much more. In addition, this beach has always been awarded a blue flag always for its characteristics and climate.

Coves to practice snorkeling, kayak routes, intimate beaches for lovers of nudism ... in Nerja you have small beaches located in corners that not everyone knows and that you will surely love.

Cala del Cañuelo: It is a fairly busy beach throughout the summer, especially July and August, and where during the month of September the number of bathers visits decreases.

Cala Torre del Pino: A clean water beach where many people practice nudism.

Barranco de Mar cove: It is made of stone closer to the water and also sand. It has a restaurant and perhaps the most complicated point is its saturation and somewhat difficult access.

La Caleta de Maro: It is one of the most recommended coves for snorkeling, and it is also made of stone and with nudists.

Just 8 minutes from our apartments, the Balcon de Europa is one of the most important tourist attractions in Nerja.

It is an area where you can enjoy a pleasant walk (animated by artists, musicians and jugglers), enjoy the weather and, best of all, hallucinate with the incredible views of the Mediterranean Sea through its beautiful viewpoint.

Don't forget to take your panoramic photo of the Mediterranean Sea and take a photo with the statue of Alfonso XII.

If you're coming to Nerja from Malaga, you might see an enormous and ancient aqueduct that stands out due to of its size and majesty. We recommend you to stop and get a closer look at this attraction.

Also known as the Eagle's Bridge, it was built to transport water to the mills of the former Sugar Factory of San Joaquín de Maro. It was sold to Azucarera Larios in 1930, and in 2005 it was ceded to the City Council of Nerja and restored between 2010 and 2012.

Another must-visit is the Nerja Caves. Only 5 minutes from our appartments you will find a nature's wonder.

The Nerja cave was discovered in 1959, and only two years later it was declared a historical and artistic monument. The origin of the caves goes back more than 250 million years ago.

The Nerja cave extends about 5,000 metres and has three entrance points: two of which are natural and one for visitors. One of the most famous areas is the lobby hall which houses one of the most important archaeological sites of the prehistory of the Mediterranean, with a large number of cave paintings.

This impressive natural structure by the sea allows visitors to enjoy its views and relaxing walks in an unforgettable environment. These cliffs are between Málaga and Granada, within a natural area that occupies the municipalities of Nerja and Almuñécar. About 10 minutes by car, after heading to the N-340, we can reach the Maro and Cerro Gordo cliffs. Be careful when driving or hiking in the mountains since goats inhabit the area. It is well-connected to the highway and there is ample parking for all types of vehicles.
